CCTV is being seen as a more popular form of deterent for both business and domestic properties especially now the equipment costs have fallen over the last few years.

Reedsafe have many years of experience installing systems that range from a single camera viewing a garden or front door to 16 camera professional grade systems with remote access via broadband internet.

Our systems are tailored to suit your individual needs and as such can be quite inexpensive. In addition, we do not insist on expensive maintainence contracts. In fact, we always offer a special deal to ALL our customers that have their PAT testing performed by us, if they have a Reedsafe installed CCTV system on their premises, we will service the system free of charge at the same time as performing their PAT testing!

Our domestic systems can be linked to your television system to save on the expense of a dedicated monitor. We also have the ability to introduce the CCTV signal into your house aerial system so any television connected to your aerial booster will have the ability to view the camera's.

The commericial grade systems come in 4, 8, 9 and 16 camera configurations. The DVR (digital video recorder) dictates the amount of cameras you can record and view at any one time, we always recommend, if funds allow to use a larger capacity DVR if possible to enable easy expansion of the system in future years.

Customers can take their pick from a wide range of camera styles available from Reedsafe. As a rule, we tend to use X-vision cameras fitted with Sony components. Some of the different styles of camera include vandal resistant domes with night vision as shown to the left, standard domes, bullet style, covert(hidden in a PIR, clock or heat detector) and IP (network). Most of our cameras come with night vision built in as standard. Reedsafe prefer not to use wireless cameras always opting for good quality wired systems using professional quality cable and connectors.
